Our History

NS12 was founded in 2008, and after six years of activity in the IT services sector, in 2014 it invested in projects for large companies, public administration, telecommunications, and public utilities.

We operate in the IT field with a strong specialization in the development of innovative technological solutions in Java and Microsoft, which has allowed us to be part of some of the major technological development projects for large private companies and SMEs.

As a Microsoft Partner, we work together with our clients to meet their needs, offering services that enhance productivity through a highly rewarding approach in terms of trust and customer satisfaction.

How We Work

Requirements Gathering

Requirements gathering is the preliminary activity in software development aimed at defining the functionalities that the new product must offer and the requirements that the developed software must meet.

Effort Estimation

Critical variables are quantified – time, quality, quantity of resources, costs, and margins for risk management. Standard metric systems (function points, story points) are used for estimation, but specific metrics can also be developed based on the nature of the project.

Work Plan

The expected times for completing all activities necessary to develop the software product and the precedence constraints between the various phases are highlighted, with the aim of “leveling” the use of available resources. All this is summarized with the Gantt chart.

Milestone

Milestones represent the expected date for the release of a significant project deliverable and serve as a meeting and verification point with the project client.

Development

The work plan is handed over to the development team, which begins to build and test the software: good software development practices and tools to measure the actual quality of the produced code are used.

Acceptance

Test Each phase of software development concludes with a testing phase. The released part of the system is tested to evaluate/validate the quality of the software, both as a work process and as produced code.

Production

After the testing phase and any bug fixes, the software is delivered and the new system is put into production.
