Training Project “Safety & Security in NS12: Towards Zero Risk”

The Training Project:

In recent years, European strategies have emphasized the role of health and safety in the workplace as an essential element to strengthen the competitiveness and productivity of companies and contribute to the efficiency of social protection systems.

In line with European policy guidelines on worker protection in the workplace, the Lazio Region signed a memorandum of understanding on April 29, 2019, titled “More Health and Safety at Work,” to enhance initiatives aimed at strengthening the culture of safety and worker well-being, with particular attention to actions that promote corporate social responsibility.

This Notice, funded under the FSE+ 2021/2027 programming, in line with the guidelines of the aforementioned memorandum of understanding, aims to implement consulting, training/informative interventions aimed at companies and workers.

NS12’s Commitment and Objectives

The project aims to introduce a workplace safety management system at NS12, providing a concrete opportunity to classify the NS12 organization in terms of safety, performance, values, and corporate culture.

Specifically, NS12 intends to comply with the UNI ISO 4500:2018 standard to implement a comprehensive framework for improving workplace safety, reducing risks, and enhancing the health and well-being of workers within the company.

The project involves a consulting intervention that will proceed through the implementation of 10 activities, reflecting the 10 chapters of the ISO High Structure Level (HSL) scheme adopted by ISO 45001, and a training program functional to the implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
